The Pandas are composed from recycled paper, bonded with rice glue, hand sculpted, and decorated with unleaded paint. (Here’s a video of their creation and you can also find more pics here) Known as Les 1600, they are representatives of the estimated sixteen hundred giant Pandas left outside captivity. They traveled the globe from Bangkok to Paris in an attempt to raise awareness about the endangered species.
